Welcome aboard!!

What's life like aboard a small cruising sailboat for a couple who are experiencing a new lifestyle??
Please join Steve & Cindy aboard the sailboat
'Victoria Rose' as we experience new adventures.  We're a married couple from the Pacific Northwest who took the 'plunge' in 2007 when we quit our jobs, rented out the house, moved onto the boat and headed south. They say "you can always make more money, but you can't make more time."   We wanted to start a new adventure. Explore a bit. And experience 'life'.  This website is designed to provide information about the boat, our cruising life, and the places we've visited.

As cruisers, we welcome any questions or comments regarding where we've visited, cruising itineraries, how we outfitted the boat, or 'cruising' in general.  Contact info is here.
Welcome aboard!!
"Twenty years from now you'll be more dissapointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones that you did do.  So cast off the bow lines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover."        -Mark Twain

Cruising Update:

Our plans for the 'Puddle Jump'- the Pacific crossing to French Polynesia and beyond are delayed until Spring 2011.  The pesky El Nino conditions in 2010 created unstable weather/wind patterns for the planned passage.  So, we'll spend another year exploring Mexico.
